Additional Education and Resources
Campus Presentations
HSD frequently receives requests to give presentations to the UW research community and its affiliates. Honoring these requests is an important element of HSD’s researcher training program and an acknowledgement of HSD’s role in the overall mission of UW as an educational institution. However, HSD regrettably currently has limited resources for presentations and may not be able to honor all requests. Presentations to large groups and those completing IRB applications are prioritized.
To request a presentation, contact hsdinfo@uw.edu.
Attending an IRB Meeting
HSD frequently receives requests for students or trainees to observe IRB meetings as an educational experience.
Requests to attend an IRB meeting will be considered on a case by case basis based on HSD workload and other considerations. To request to attend an IRB meeting, contact hsdinfo@uw.edu.
