New ORIS Service Desk Features

The Office of Research Information Services (ORIS) Service Desk has transitioned to a new ticketing system, UW Connect. Rest assured that you can still contact our Service Desk team as you normally do; however, there are a few new features that we want you to be aware of.

What’s New?

  • View ticket status and attachments on a new My Requests page: After you submit a ticket, the automated response you receive from us will look slightly different, including a link to a new My Requests page. From this page, you can view the status of your ticket and view and download any attachments related to your request.

  • Our speedy Service Desk team: The ORIS Service Desk team remains on-hand from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday to help answer any questions you have.
  • Your ability to contact the Service Desk team via email: Continue to contact us via email, as usual, with questions about ORIS systems and services.
