Update: Unexpected SAGE Outage

Update 9/17, 4:30 p.m.

We sincerely apologize for the disruptions to your work as a result of the SAGE issues on Friday, 9/15. We do not take the impact this has had on you lightly, and we assure you that our team is working diligently to diagnose the problem and identify the best path forward.

On Sunday, 9/17, after careful testing and consideration, we have temporarily removed the Award Requests search feature, while we evaluate an alternate way of delivering that feature to lighten the load on our systems and improve performance.

Thank you for your continued patience while we continue to evaluate and troubleshoot. We will keep you updated this week once we are able to redeploy the Award Requests Search feature.

Update 9/15, 5:15 p.m.

In response to today’s SAGE access and performance issues, we will be updating the SAGE Suite tonight, 9/15 starting at 5:30 p.m. This update is expected to last up to 60 minutes. Please be sure to save your work in SAGE before 5:30 p.m. in order to avoid loss of work.

We will notify you once the issues are resolved or when there is more information to share.

Update 9/15, 3:30 p.m.

We have received additional reports that SAGE is experiencing intermittent access and performance issues. The SAGE team is working diligently to troubleshoot the issues. We will notify you once the issues are resolved or when there is more information to share.

Please note the related Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) GIM 19 announcement: Proposals with a GIM 19 deadline of September 15 may miss that deadline due to the unexpected SAGE issues experienced by SAGE users (including OSP). Because of this, proposals with a GIM 19 deadline of September 15 have been moved to Monday, September 18.
