Lab Safety Awareness Week Feb. 9 – 13

Get ready to join the UW community in celebrating Lab Safety Awareness Week, a national event sponsored by Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association (CSHEMA) to highlight strong safety programs and share ideas that keep our faculty, staff, and students safe.

Download and fill out your Safety Champion Bingo card and take photos of completed tasks for a chance to win prizes and get recognized in the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) newsletter! It’s also a great time to do a quick self‑inspection of your lab.

Meet the Lab Safety Team

Stop by their table at the locations listed below from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. to ask questions, get feedback on lab safety practices and documents, and pick up safety-related materials and swag. Vendors will also be featuring safety products at some locations.
