New SAGE Health & Status Page and Updated Resources

Based on your feedback, ORIS has recently released the following new and updated SAGE resources.

New SAGE Resources

  • (New) SAGE Health & Status Page: This new webpage provides information on the SAGE Suite’s current status, priority work in progress, ongoing incidents, and recent updates.
  • (Revised) How to Make a Custom Base Type in SAGE Budget: This job aid now includes crosswalks for base types and object codes for both preset and custom SAGE base types.
  • (New) SAGE eGC1 Resources: Bookmark this collection of eGC1 resources for easy reference. ORIS will continue to update it as new resources are developed.
    • Coming Soon: Videos and elearning covering the eGC1 process are currently in development.
  • (Revised) Subawards in SAGE Quick Guide: This reference covers the essential elements of the outgoing subawards process.
    • Reminder: The next Subawards class will be offered this fall.

Upcoming Classes

If you are new to using SAGE or are looking for a refresher on best practices, join our upcoming live Zoom classes:

  • SAGE: Creating and Submitting eGC1s: Understand how to create an eGC1 (electronic Grants and Contracts form 1) in SAGE, attach documents, and submit an eGC1 for approval.
  • SAGE: Budget: Learn how to create accurate, detailed budgets for your grant and contract proposals through lecture and guided practice.
    • Register Now: Wednesday, 10/15, 2 – 4 p.m. PT; Tuesday, 10/28, 1 – 3 p.m. PT
  • SAGE: Creating NIH Proposals in Grant Runner: Walk through completing Grants.gov applications for many National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding opportunities directly within SAGE.
  • SAGE: Awards & Modifications: Explore how to manage both Award Setup Requests (ASRs) and Modification Requests (MODs) throughout the grant process.
