The Office of Research is pleased to announce that Amanda Snyder has accepted the OSP Director position, starting March 16th.  Amanda has been serving as Interim Director since January 1st.

Amanda possesses a breadth of knowledge, with over 25 years’ experience in research administration.  She has been a key member of the UW Office of Sponsored Programs for 12 of those years, and brings a demonstrated collegial and practical approach to her work.  Previous to working at UW, Amanda was with Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and University of Maryland – Baltimore.  Amanda has contributed to the field of research administration through her leadership positions with the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) and active participation in the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) on behalf of UW.
