The UW Office of Research and the Office of Animal Welfare invite you to register for the upcoming seminar “Ethics of Using Agentic AI in Research and Compliance, Where are We Now and Where are We Heading?”, presented by Dr. Mohammad Hosseini, Assistant Professor in the Feinberg School of Medicine, Department of Preventative Medicine, at Northwestern University.

Dr. Mohammad Hosseini
Dr. Mohammad Hosseini’s research is focused on ethical implications of using artificial intelligence (AI) in research and publications, research ethics and integrity and open science. He collaborates closely with the Galter Health Science Library, Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS) and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (I.AIM). He is involved in and leads various ethics projects in national and international organizations (e.g., Association of Professional and Practical Ethics, National Information Standards Organization, National Academy of Sciences, and Global Young Academy). Furthermore, he teaches research ethics and integrity and responsible conduct of research at Northwestern University and various international institutions and is the associate editor of the journal of Accountability in Research and the book series editor of Research Ethics Forum.
