We will present a framework and resources for research administrators who are expected to understand policies and requirements related to studies involving human subjects, research animals, and biological substances or reagents.
The cases presented assume prior knowledge of concepts related to Institutional Review Boards (IRB), Institutional Care and Use Committees (IACUC), as well as Institutional Biosafety Committees (IBC) as coordinated by the Human Subjects Division, Office of Animal Welfare, and Environmental Health & Safety, respectively.
