SAM.gov Planned Outage & the New Unique Entity Identifier

SAM.gov will be unavailable from 4/01-4/04 to complete the final transition from DUNS numbers to the new Unique Entity Identifiers (UEI) .

During the SAM Outage 4/01-4/04

Until SAM.gov is available again on 4/04, you will not be able to use SAM to determine if entities or individuals have been debarred or suspended by the federal government.

After the SAM Update

Starting Monday, 4/04, you will no longer see DUNS numbers in SAM.gov. The new UEI will be the official federal government identifier used for federal awards.

DUNS Numbers will no longer be displayed or accepted for entity registration, reporting, or searching.
