MRAM: New Salary Over the Cap (SOC) Worktags

There is a new Workday delivered worktag for Salary Over the Cap (SOC) journal lines.  You will now see a worktag called “Salary Over the Cap Basis” on payroll journal lines in Workday.  This worktag is automatically populated when salary over the cap is calculated in Workday.

If a Payroll Accounting Adjustment (PAA) is being completed for a SOC line, both worktags must be included as seen below:

If the PAA is adjusting a line without SOC, these worktags should not be selected.

PAAs with or without SOC will continue to flow through to the effort system (ECC) every Monday.
