Center for Penguins as Ocean Sentinels


The Center for Penguins as Ocean Sentinels is the umbrella organization for The Penguin Project,, Global Penguin Society, and Volunteer Student Research and Education Programs.

Penguins are marine sentinels that can teach us about the health of marine and coastal ecosystems. Through research, conservation, and education, the Center for Penguins as Ocean Sentinels works to understand what penguins are telling us, protect their environment, and inspire others to take action in preserving our natural world.

The Center emails an update to interested individuals periodically and works to support the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Penguin Specialist Group.
