Mission

The UW Medicine Center for Scholarship in Patient Care Quality and Safety leverages UW Medicine’s academic strengths and its operational quality and safety capacity with the following goals:

Goal 1: Stimulate innovative research and scholarship around quality and safety, promoting collaboration between scientists, clinician-educators, quality and safety experts, and trainees;
Goal 2: Provide education around quality and safety at UW Medicine and beyond;
Goal 3: Use innovations in information technology to enhance quality and safety research and education.
