The Center for International Trade in Forest Products, CINTRAFOR, is one of three applied research centers within the University of Washington’s School of Environmental & Forest Sciences
CINTRAFOR helps forest products exports by:
- Collecting & distributing information on rapidly changing foreign markets, including consumption trends, distribution channels, trading systems, codes/standards & the regulatory environment.
- Applying research findings to technical, environmental, economic, social & resource management problems that impede exports of specific products
- Training forest products professionals by providing funding for graduate level research on the international trade of forest products.
