Fire Extinguisher Training Online
This online course covers the hazards involved with incipient (early stage) fires and how to select and operate a fire extinguisher using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep).
Who is required to take this training?
All UW employees and students who are expected to use a fire extinguisher.
Summary of the requirement
Unless your department/unit has a written plan requiring immediate evacuation in the event of a fire, all employees and students, who might choose to use a fire extinguisher, are required to take the online class.
