Converted Subawards with Supplier Contracts Missing Purchase Order
Some subaward supplier contracts were converted to Workday Finance without purchase orders (POs). Not all of them need a new PO because the subaward is not continuing.
If a new PO is needed:
Send an email to ospsubs@uw.edu including:
- Subject Line: Converted without PO
- UWSC#
- PO Start and End date
- Advance Payment – Yes or No
- Main PO Amount (lees Advance, if applicable)
- Advance Amount
- PO Grand Total
- Campus point of contact
Converted Subawards PO Dates and Dollar Errors
Send an email to ospsubs@uw.edu including:
- Subject: PO Conversion Error
- UWSC#
- Workday PO Number
- PO Start and End date
- Advance Payment – Yes or No
- Main PO Amount (less Advance, if applicable)
- Advance Amount

How do I submit a subaward request on award when it only allows for a Funding Action?
Modifications to Subawards for Funding Actions Established in SAGE Before 7/07/2023
For modifications to subawards with pre- existing Funding Actions (existed in SAGE before 7/7/2023). In the SAGE Subaward Module you can select the most recent FA. Include a note within the special instructions box that indicates the Prime Award SAGE Modification (MOD) #.
Submitting a Subaward Request in SAGE for Awards Established after 7/07/2023
For new awards with no Funding Actions (FAs), there is not currently a way to request the subaward through SAGE. ORIS is doing its best to enable this capability very soon. It is targeted for October release at this time, but work is still in progress.
