The National Instructional Materials Access Center [1] (NIMAC), at the American Printing House for the Blind [2], is a central repository for National Instructional Materials Access Standards (NIMAS) [3] files. In addition the Center acts as a conduit through which the files are made available to authorized users to convert the files into fully accessible textbooks for students.
For additional information on the NIMAS standards, NIMAS files, or the NIMAS Development and Technical Assistance Centers consult the DO-IT Knowledge Base articles What is NIMAS? [4] and What are the NIMAS Development and Technical Assistance Centers? [5]
