Stroke, partial paralysis
Completed a Bachelor's degree in social work and minor in applied psychology at Eastern Washington University. Works for ShelterCare with mentally ill homeless adults and at the Child Center with mentally ill and emotionally disturbed children.

Muscular Dystrophy
Attended Big Bend Community College and Eastern Washington University. Was developing plans for an Internet-based business when he passed away peacefully in his sleep in 2001.

Completed Bachelor's degree in biology from Washington State University and Master's degree in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University. Works as a physical therapist at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
