Information Sessions

Attend an online information session to learn more about the program and whether you or a student you know should apply. We will have more sessions for the 2025 application towards the end of the year. Thank you for your continued interest!

Eligibility

DO-IT Scholars is a competitive program that accepts a cohort of 15-20 students per year. A qualified applicant fits all of the following criteria:

  • is a high school sophomore or junior
  • has a disability
  • lives or attends school in Washington State
  • has aptitude and interest in studying at a college

Deadline

Applications are accepted throughout the school year for the upcoming summers. However, priority is given to applications received by January 30th. Applications received after January 30th are considered on a space-available basis.

How to Apply

Submitting the Student Application early allows us to know you are interested and keep in contact throughout the rest of the application process. A complete DO-IT Scholars application includes all of the following items. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Note that some forms are available online. If you prefer to complete all forms by hand, you can print the entire application packet and submit to DO-IT by postal mail, fax, or email.

We prefer forms submitted online, but you can complete any of the forms by hand and submit to DO-IT by email, fax, or postal mail. You can also access these applications in Spanish, Russian, or Vietnamese
