'98 Ambassadors: Washington Ambassadors
The following Ambassadors began participating in DO-IT as Scholars in 1998. They continue to pursue college and career goals and encourage younger DO-IT Scholars and Ambassadors.
Traumatic brain injury
Earned an associate's degree in integrated studies from Cascadia Community College. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in global studies with an emphasis on human rights at the University of Washington, Bothell. Helped launch a disability advocacy group at the University. In 2008, worked part-time for the Army Corps of Engineers Equal Employment Opportunities Commission in Seattle.
Graduated from Spokane Falls Community College in mechanical engineering.
Earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of New Orleans.
Attended Spokane Falls Community College. Hopes to become a network security analyst.
Attention deficit disorder, dyslexia, and dysgraphia
Co-owner of Faded Karma Productions. Front desk supervisor at the Hotel Max and live sound engineer for Super Geek League (Sci-Fi Punk Circus).
Studied social work at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Is raising money for a service dog for Paws With a Cause and has raised $11,000 of $20,000 so far. Does wheelchair ballet at the Valley Academy of the Arts and is involved with BEAMING (Building Equine Assisted Mobility Into New Growth).
Earned two associate's degrees and works full time at the Federal Aviation Administration as an office administrator.
Interested in attending a community college in the Portland area.

Completed a bachelor's degree at the University of Alberta with majors in physics and mathematical sciences. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in economics and Christian theology, while working at the University of Alberta as associate vice president of Student Life.

Graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in informatics and a minor in dance. Interested in business intelligence and information management. Works at Amazon.com.

Graduated from the Evergreen State College with a bachelor's degree in communication. Works as a small business and national accounts coordinator for Verizon Wireless and acts in independent films. Married summer 2011.
Tourette syndrome, attention deficit disorder, and panic disorder
Earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Seattle University.
Plans to pursue a career in music.
