Funding Your Study Abroad Program 12:30-1:15  (HUB 250)

I’m new to study abroad – what should I do when I get to the fair?

  1. Get inspired by checking out the Global Campus Photo Contest finalists – and vote for your favorite!
  2. Choose two faculty-led programs and go talk to them at their info table. Some sample questions:
    • What do you do on your program – what do you think is the most interesting part?
    • I’m a ______ major. How could your program benefit my studies?
    • How many students go on your program?
  3. Talk to a student who just got back from an Exchange program. Ask them what it was like to study and live at a university overseas.
  4. Visit the Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards table and go to the Funding Your Study Abroad info session.
  5. Ask questions at the UW Study Abroad table near the front entrance. We can help you find what you’re looking for or answer any general questions.
