Hear from former exchange students on their experiences abroad! This will be an informal panel of 5 students with plenty of time for your questions.

Whether you are a traditional freshman or a transfer student, there is lots of money to study abroad. Come to this session and learn about scholarships and other financial resources that can take the financial worry out of making study abroad part of your Husky experience.

Let’s Talk Money: How to Afford Your Study Abroad

These workshops are intended to help students think about and plan for study abroad expenses early.  It will cover how financial aid and study abroad work together, scholarships to consider, cost comparisons, saving and budgeting strategies as well as tips to locate and purchase airfare.

Gilman Scholarship Information Sessions

This session will provide an overview of the Gilman Scholarship, application requirements, and writing tips to submit a competitive application. If you are an undergraduate student who is receiving a federal Pell grant as part of your financial aid award package, it is strongly recommended that you attend if you are planning to study abroad. Applicants can receive up to $8,000. Deadline is March 3, 2020. Applicants must be US citizens by the time they depart for their study abroad to be eligible to apply.

UW Languages Fair for Language Majors and Minors
