Our Group Fitness classes will help you stay active, reduce stress, and have fun! Join us this quarter with the REC CLASS PASS! You’ll enjoy unlimited access to dozens of fitness and mindfulness classes hosted by our friendly, knowledgeable instructors.

  • $60 for UW students.
  • $90 for non-student members.
  • The Winter quarter pass runs from January 8th- March 8th.
  • Class descriptions can be found on our registration portal under “Rec Class Pass Reservations.”
  • Please remember to register ahead of time for classes! They get very busy.
  • Please remember to cancel your registration if you can no longer attend a class.
  • Meet our fitness and mindfulness instructors.
  • We want every student to be able to attend our classes. If you have a financial need, consider applying for the Student Recreation Fund.

How To Register

Users must register for the Rec Class Pass through the link below.

  1. Go to https://reg.recreation.uw.edu/
  2. Click on the purple “Log In” button in the top right corner.
  3. Click on the purple “UW NETID” button to log in.
  4. Click on the “Memberships & Passes” Icon.
  5. Click on “Rec Class Pass”.
  6. Click on the grey “duration” bar.
  7. The quarter will automatically change to the current quarter. Click the purple “Add to Cart” button.
  8. Click the purple “Checkout” button. This will happen twice to confirm you want to checkout.
  9. You will receive a receipt via email (to the email on file, usually your UW email).
  10. You will need to pre-register for each class series you wish to attend using your UW NetID.  If you have questions, please email recinfo@uw.edu.

To reserve a spot in an in-person class:

  1. Students, UW employees, and current Rec members can sign up for a Rec Class Pass using the above instructions.  You must first checkout and have your Rec Class Pass on account to access in-person reservations.
  2. Go to https://reg.recreation.uw.edu/Program/GetProducts?classification=2c57b651-9037-4d78-ad4e-d12cc69fef01
  3. Select the class you want to attend and checkout (note: if you don’t have the Rec Class Pass membership on your account first, it will not let you reserve a space). Reservations/cancellations open seven days prior to class start time and run up to 15 minutes before class start time.
  4. If you cannot attend, you are required to drop the class ahead of time so that another person can attend. If you do not cancel your reservation, you may have your access restricted. If you want to change the class you are registered for, you must first drop the unwanted class before adding a new class.
  5. To change/cancel your class reservations:
    • Go to https://reg.recreation.uw.edu/Program/GetProducts – “Login” on the top right corner with your UW NetID
    • Click on your name in the top right corner, then Profile in the drop-down menu
    • Click on “Programs” on the left-hand menu –
    • You will see the list of everything you have registered for and can click the 3 dots button, then click “Cancel.”

UW Recreation does not provide accident or medical coverage for participants. It is recommended that participants obtain their own personal coverage.
