National Ambassadors

The following Ambassadors began participating in DO-IT as Scholars in 1998. They continue to pursue college and career goals and encourage younger DO-IT Scholars and Ambassadors.

Blair, '98 Scholar

Brain injury
Completed a Bachelor's degree in applied math from the University of Idaho. Beginning working towards earning a Master's degree in industrial technology.

Attended Valencia Community College.

Kimberlee, '98 Scholar

Cerebral Palsy
Taking classes at Mesa Community College. Interested in exercise and dance and is taking classes in Hip Hop and Salsa. Also taking pilates and yoga. Has a volunteer job at the Salvation Army.

Graduated from secretarial school. Taking college business classes at Anoka Technical College. Manages her own business.

Graduated from Grinnell College with a Bachelor's degree in political science. Attending Portland State University's Public Administration and Policy Ph.D. program.

Died on April 25, 2006. Graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in biology and geology.

Attended the University of Alaska with interests in computers and science.

Blind
Earned a Bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a major in information systems and a minor in computer science. Currently works as an IT Applications Developer and Software Accessibility Consultant for the State of Nebraska.

Attended the University of Montana, majoring in psychology. Would like to be a neuropsychologist.

Studied abroad in Dublin and Paris; graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in political science (Magna Cum Laude). Graduating from law school at the University of San Francisco in December. Currently interning with the San Francisco Public Defender.
