Council Chair Steve Collins, UW Bothell IAS, co-founded and directs the Biotechnology and Biomedical Technology Institute at the Bothell campus. He seeks to employ his interests in political thought, science and technology, public policy, and East Asian studies to make UW Bothell a center for innovative thinking and public outreach in entrepreneurship and innovation policy, in the context of socially responsible, sustainable development.
