Council Chair John Schaufelberger, Chair of the UW’s Construction Management Department, joined the faculty in 1994 after serving 30 years as a military officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managing major national and international construction projects totaling more than $2 billion. Research involves project delivery methods and project management techniques.
