Trainers and Administrators

The following resources are for trainers and administrators who provide professional development for faculty and staff about general teaching strategies, diversity, distance learning, accessible design, and/or teaching students with disabilities. They include training videos, visuals, sample scripts and handouts as well as presentation strategies and resources.

Faculty and Staff

The following resources help faculty and staff create courses, services, and information resources that are accessible to students with disabilities.

  • The Faculty Room
    A space for faculty and academic administrators at postsecondary institutions to learn about how to create classroom environments and activities that maximize the learning of all students, including those with disabilities.
  • The Student Services Conference Room
    A space for administrators and staff at postsecondary institutions to learn about how to create student services that are fully accessible to all students, including those with disabilities. It provides guidelines for creating accessible admissions and registration offices, career services, tutoring centers, dormitories, computer labs, distance learning programs, and other student services.
  • Disability-Related Videos
    Multiple video collections that share personal stories of individuals with disabilities and universal and other inclusive design strategies that make the world more inclusive of people with disabilities.
