Financial Planning Workshops

These workshops are intended to help students think about and plan for study abroad expenses early.  It will cover how financial aid and study abroad work together, scholarships to consider, cost comparisons, saving and budgeting strategies as well as tips to locate and purchase airfare.

Autumn workshop dates TBD.

This workshop is also available online if you are unable to attend in person.

Gilman Scholarship Info Sessions

Receive up to $8,000 for study abroad with the Gilman Scholarship. Must be an undergraduate and be receiving a federal Pell Grant through the Office of Student Financial aid to be eligible.  Students considering study abroad in winter, spring or summer 2020 are strongly encouraged to attend.  The session will provide an overview of eligibility, a review application components and provide writing tips for submitting strong applications.

 Identity Abroad Discussion

This discussion brings together students of all identities to grapple with challenging situations related to various aspects of individual identity including race, gender, nationality and religion. This discussion is open to all students preparing to go abroad.  RSVP required. Pizza will be provided. Space is limited.  Click here to RSVP.
