Financial Planning Workshops

These workshops are intended to help students think about and plan for study abroad expenses early.  It will cover how financial aid and study abroad work together, scholarships to consider, cost comparisons, saving and budgeting strategies as well as tips to locate and purchase airfare.

Gilman Scholarship Info Sessions

Receive up to $8,000 for study abroad with the Gilman Scholarship. Must be an undergraduate and be receiving a federal Pell Grant through the Office of Student Financial aid to be eligible.  Students considering study abroad in winter, spring or summer 2020 are strongly encouraged to attend.  The session will provide an overview of eligibility, a review application components and provide writing tips for submitting strong applications.

Women’s Identity Abroad Discussion

This discussion brings together women who have studied abroad in a variety of different countries and cultural contexts. Panelists will share their experiences navigating a variety of different topics as it relates to being a woman abroad. Women who are currently preparing to go abroad are strong encouraged to attend this discussion.
