Financial Planning Workshops

These workshops provide an overview of how to financially plan for study abroad. They will cover financial aid basics, budgeting, scholarships, money saving strategies and tips on generating extra cash before you go abroad.

Racial Identity When Studying Abroad

  • Thursday, November 16, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. (ECC)

This workshop gives study abroad students the opportunity to both consider and reflect on experiences such as encountering racial stereotypes, developing support systems and understanding identity abroad. Students, alumni, and panelists will break into small groups to discuss the complexities of race and identity through the lens of studying abroad. All prospective and current study abroad students are welcome to attend.

Our biggest event of the year, this is a great opportunity to explore over 500 study and internship opportunities worldwide and meet study abroad alumni to learn about their experiences abroad. You can also attend workshops on funding and other study abroad-related topics.
