Pass Details
- $66 for UW students.
- $99 for non-student members.
- The Spring quarter pass runs from April 7th – June 6th.
- Class descriptions can be found below, or on our registration portal under “Rec Class Pass Reservations.”
- Classes no longer require pre-registration!
- We want every student to be able to attend our classes. If you have a financial need, consider applying for the Student Recreation Fund.
How To Register
Users must register for the Rec Class Pass through the link below.
- Go to https://reg.recreation.uw.edu/
- Click on the purple “Log In” button in the top right corner.
- Click on the purple “UW NETID” button to log in.
- Click on the “Memberships & Passes” Icon.
- Click on “Rec Class Pass”.
- Click on the grey “duration” bar.
- The quarter will automatically change to the current quarter. Click the purple “Add to Cart” button.
- Click the purple “Checkout” button. This will happen twice to confirm you want to checkout.
- You will receive a receipt via email (to the email on file, usually your UW email).

Classes Offered in Spring 2025:
All-Levels Vinyasa
In this beginner-friendly yoga and mindfulness class, you will
move your body with your breath as you practice self-awareness, acceptance, and
compassion. With regular practice, you will become stronger, more flexible and
balanced, and improve your capacity to be present in each moment off your mat.
Breath & Harmony Yoga
This is a gentle, yet strengthening, Hatha-style practice.
We focus on grounding postures, alignment, and steady breathing to cultivate
harmony within. Perfect for all levels, this class guides you through a series of poses
that open, strengthen, and stabilize the body.
Cycle 101
New to cycle? This is a great place to start! Enjoy a ride that focuses on the
basics set to music from all different genres!
Dance Fitness
This class combines Yoga, Pilates, and ballet-inspired exercises to
activate your “dance muscles,” followed by an energetic, fun dance. Open to all
levels—build strength, balance, and enjoy moving!
Dance Party
Come dance, sweat and have a great time at this 50-minute, all-levels
dance party!
Fight Fit
Strike first and strike hard in Fight Fit! This is the perfect introduction to
kickboxing. Each week, you’ll learn new techniques, from basic strikes to
combinations, and immediately put them to the test with dynamic pad workouts.
This class is designed to build your skills, boost your confidence, and give you a killer
workout, whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your technique. Get ready to
punch, kick, and sweat your way to better fitness!
H2O Cardio
Join us for fun in the H2O! This class combines buoyancy and water
resistance to tone your muscles in a cardio-focused workout. We alternate using
shallow and deep water for a variety of moves to get your whole body working!
Participants joining us for the deep-water days must be able to tread water
confidently.
Intermediate Vinyasa
This class is designed for students who are familiar with
basic yoga principles. If you want an extra challenge or are looking to advance your
practice, then this class is for you!
Pilates
Strengthen your core, gain flexibility and improve your mind body
connection in this 50-minute workout!
Strength through Yoga
Build mobility through strength and flexibility! Using props
and body weight, you will learn how to do drills (special practices designed for
conditioning the body) that carefully prepare you to get into specific poses. This class
will also educate you on the benefits, considerations, and risks of various yoga
postures.
Sunrise Yoga
A practice focused on conscious breathing, deeper holds, and basic
postures to support you throughout your day!
Yin Yoga
Focus on cultivating mindfulness and deep relaxation while working to
improve alignment and body awareness. This class is perfect for those looking to
reduce stress, enhance flexibility, and find a sense of calm amidst their busy lives!
Barre Burn
This core- and leg-focused class combines elements of Pilates and
strength training! You will feel stronger, healthier, and more balanced after this class!
Contemporary Dance
An expressive dance that combines elements of several
dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet!
Cycle Conditioning
Cycle Conditioning is an energizing class based on cycling
intervals that range in intensity. This morning class will build strength and endurance
as well get the circulation flowing as you listen to upbeat music that matches each
pace. Breathing exercises and stretching are incorporated to help the muscles feel
good and align posture for the day.
Dance Fitness & Choreography
This class is all about high energy cardio, dance
choreography, and most importantly, having fun! Whether you’re a beginner or
advanced dancer, you are welcome in this class!
Electro-Cycle
Unlike any cycling class you have taken before! This high energy
“night” ride features uniquely crafted EDM playlists, visuals, and movements in sync
with the beat that will leave you sweating and ready for more!
Flow & Glow Yoga
End the day with endurance focused flow yoga. Engage your
inner muscles, develop postural control, and cultivate balance in and out of the
studio. *Unique lighting will be used*
HIIT
Experience full body high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class that expertly
blends cardio and strength training for a full-body workout. Whether you’re new to
exercise or a seasoned athlete, this class is designed for all fitness levels. Each week
brings a new focus with varied exercises and equipment, keeping the workouts fresh
and challenging. You’ll cycle through heart-pumping cardio intervals and targeted
strength moves that hit every major muscle group, helping you build endurance,
strength, and overall fitness.
Intro to K-Pop Dance
Learn some dance moves from your favorite K-Pop artists!
Practice a fun and exciting new routine each week!
Power Yoga
A faster paced flow class that will focus on strength and alignment
building.
Sunrise Cycle
Start your morning off with a bang! This dynamic class will leave you
energized and ready to take on the day!
Vinyasa Yoga
A more dynamic heat-building practice that synchronizes movement
with breath.
Yoga Sculpt
When muscle meets yoga, Yoga Sculpt is born. Boost metabolism and
build lean muscle mass as you move to upbeat tracks. Transforming traditional
yoga postures into a practice with a twist, using light weights to tone your whole
body and build long lean muscle while challenging your body and mind.

Safety at Night
To ensure your safety when leaving UW Recreation facilities at night, different organizations at the UW provide some options that are free and may be available to you:
NightRide
NightRide is a UW shuttle service that provides a safe and easy way for U-PASS members living in the general university area (see service map) to get home at night. Shuttles for the east and west route zones make their first stop at the IMA front entrance and run every 20 minutes during operating hours. All shuttles are wheelchair accessible.

The SafeWalk program is a safety walking program provided by the UW Police Department and operated by security guard staff members.

Insurance
UW Recreation does not provide accident or medical coverage for participants. It is recommended that participants obtain their own personal coverage.
