Student Success & Well-being Coaching

College is not always easy. Navigating college in an entirely different country with unfamiliar cultural traditions and unspoken living practices can be more difficult and can feel lonely. Not only are you juggling academic challenges to maintain your visa status, but you are also creating a home far, far away from home while learning to adapt to a completely new environment. That’s hard! And we’re here to tell you: We see your effort, and it’s okay to not feel on top of everything!

Whether you are a first-year student, continuing or graduate student, you are not alone. CIRCLE offers one-on-one 40-min appointments for you to meet with our Student Success and Well-being Coordinator, Linh! Linh will collaborate with you to explore your strengths, values, and cultural backgrounds in order to maximize your growth during your time at the UW and beyond.

In-person or via Zoom, you get to choose how and when to have your appointment.

Unsure where to start?

Student Success and Well-being Coaching is NOT psychological counseling or therapy. We are also NOT an on-call or emergency service; please call 911 in all life-threatening situations.

Meet our Student Success & Well-being Coordinator!

Hi! I am Linh, and I use she/her pronouns. I am currently a Master of Social Work student at UW. As an immigrant from Việt Nam, I understand how complicated and challenging navigating college life can be for international students. My goal in this position is to guide, empower, and create a space for you to untangle the pressure you might be having regarding your academic performance, social and community involvement, career aspirations, personal growth, and everything in between. I hope to walk with you in your journey towards overall well-being, however you define it.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Check out our open appointments below. Be sure to select your current time zone when scheduling if it is different from Seattle’s (PST). If the available times do not work for your schedule, please email Linh at to arrange a time that is convenient.
