A partnership between CIRCLE and the UW Career and Internship Center, the Global Leadership Series spotlights prominent UW alumni across different industries from around the world. Each meeting gives students an opportunity to chat, learn from, and connect with a global leader. Supply Chain Management

Tina works as a passionate business leader with 15 years of experience in major corporate businesses such as Tommy Bahama, Zara, Coach, and Swarovski in Asia and the US. She currently leads the Global Strategic Sourcing Department for Swarovski in Hong Kong.

Entrepreneurship

Crysti brings her passion for philanthropy and entreprenuership to her current job as the Co-founder and General Partner of impact investment VC fund UniWill Ventures.

Dr. Anu Taranath

Social Change and Innovation

Dr. Anu Taranath is a speaker, facilitator, consultant, author, and educator specializing in issues of diversity, racial equity, and social change. She is currently a professor across English, Humanities, and Comparative History of Ideas at the UW and has been teaching for over 25 years. She has worked with social change agents and innovative thinkers to amplify the voice who are currently not heard.

Kyu Lee

Entertainment

After working for more than a decade at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Kyu Lee founded his own production company that now works in Los Angeles and Seoul, Korea. Through his years of experience Kyu has tackled the industry head on, working with notable figures including PSY and Quincy Jones.

 

 

 

 


Dr. Emily Wong

Medicine

Dr. Wong is an Affiliate Associate Professor with UW Medicine and an honorary Associate Professor in the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine.
