With this in mind, International Pride aims to:
- Promote and maintain safety as students explore their queer and questioning identities, especially UW international students and students who might not be familiar with the U.S. context. In this context, safety is defined as mental, physical, cultural, legal, and medical safety.
- Build community and connections around the intersection of students holding a) international backgrounds and b) queer and questioning identities.
