Salary and Benefit Rates – General Information

FY20 Compensation changes

Provost Richards released an initial compensation letter on March 6, 2019, providing initial guidance about planning for FY20.  Later in the spring, a final merit authorization letter will be provided, along with information about the merit process.

The Merit and Faculty Unit Adjustment Process Guide for FY2020 is anticipated to be released in mid- June after the Provost approves final merit authorization. To assist units in planning the following information was emailed to administrators on May 31, 2019:

FY19 Compensation changes

Provost Baldasty released a compensation letter on March 14, 2018, providing initial guidance about planning for FY19.

On May 3, 2018, the Provost sent Deans, Chancellors, Vice Presidents, and Vice Provosts his FY19 merit authorization letter, which authorized a 2 percent merit pool for eligible and meritorious faculty, librarians, and professional staff in FY19.

To assist unit administrators with the merit process, the Integrated Service Center (ISC) compiled the following guide to address “zero compensation” errors that may appear in Workday for fixed-term/temporary employees.
