2020-21 Monthly Message Themes

Jack Martin

Coordinating our messaging around monthly themes has proven to be a great way to maximize the effectiveness of our communications. We’ll again be using monthly themes in 2020-21, and the schedule for those themes is outlined below. Stories and social media posts that align with these themes are also more likely to be shared using central assets, such as the UW home page and the UW’s social media channels.

New this year is a theme focusing on population health, which encompasses human health, environmental resilience, and social and economic equity. You can learn more about population health as a concept and about the work of the Population Health Initiative on the initiative’s website.

The themes for the 2020-21 academic year appear below and in this printable PDF. For more information, check out this blog post or e-mail Jack Martin.
