Brand Alignment Funding

Fund your on-brand marketing efforts

University Marketing & Communications (UMAC) has a limited pool of one-time fiscal year funds to help units across the University align with institutional marketing and communications strategies.

Requests are submitted to the Director of Brand Management and will be reviewed bi-monthly. UMAC will make funding decisions on brand alignment requests and notify applicants accordingly. Funds will be distributed to units based on the criteria below. Please submit your information using the following form.

Request funding

Criteria for brand alignment funding requests:

  • All requests must be approved by the chief advancement officer, dean, vice president or vice provost within the division.
  • Available funds are one-time money. It is not possible to grant permanent fund requests.
  • Funds will be used to align unit communications with institutional brand marketing and communications strategy.

Priority will be given to requests that utilize funds for:

  • On-brand campaign initiatives, including projects that support unit campaign priorities, campaign content creation, etc.
  • Strategic outreach that advances the UW’s institutional objectives: Attracting and developing
  • Washington’s and the world’s most promising students, growing public and private support, being a destination for world-class faculty and staff and growing internal passion for what the UW stands for.
