Associate Director for Programs

UW Recreation has an outstanding opportunity for an Associate Director for Programs.  The Associate Director for Programs provides executive oversight, direction, and supervision of professional staff members (currently five) who manage an extensive portfolio of activities including Aquatics, Fitness, Intramurals, Mindfulness (Yoga and Meditation),and Rec Clubs.  In addition, the Associate Director will oversee Recreation’s student staff development efforts. Interested candidates should contact Director of Recreation Matt Newman via email with any questions.

Anticipated opening – Intramurals Manager

UW Recreation has an anticipated opening for Intramurals Manager.  Reporting to the Associate Director for Programs, this full-time, year-round position will have full oversight of a robust intramuarls program of approximately 10 leagues per quarter and 85 student staff.  Creating an officials development program will be a key component of this role.  Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, and at least two years’ experience in campus recreation.  The search is scheduled to begin in late February with planned onboarding no later Summer 2019.  Continue to check the UW Employment website for the official posting and application instructions.
