About the Event Upon launching its first ever wheelchair basketball league, Intramurals saw all timeslots fill up with 12 total teams and 40+ participants. Our coaching staff boasts over three decades of coaching and playing experience at all levels of competition, and with athletes of all different abilities. If you’re wondering if this sport is for you, we’d love to connect more and to answer any questions you may have.
Please reach out and let us know if you’d prefer a 1-on-1 visit to the IMA to test out our sport chairs ahead of time!
Right now, our focus is on building out our intercollegiate team so we are focusing our recruitment on students. However, we are also interested in community members with disabilities to join a potential DIII team!
