Private Outdoor Event Rental Spaces
- West Lot (included in Shell House Reservations)
This is not Conibear Shellhouse. The “ASUW Shell House West Lot” refers to the surrounding grounds of 1918 WWI Navy Seaplane Hangar that graces the shores of the Montlake Cut. (labeled “ASUW Shell House” on campus maps). This space can only be rented out 6 months in advance. This is NOT a parking lot. This venue does include electrical outlets on the exterior of the Shell House.
- Green Space (included in Great Room rentals). This space can only be rented out 3 months in advance.
- Montlake Dock Not for long term docking. Short term moorage only.

Reserve/Inquire
For waterfront venue availability and pricing, please email our Waterfront Reservations team at waterfrontreserve@uw.edu to inquire about rentals. Once your event has been approved, you will receive an estimate along with our rental contract. Additional forms may be necessary upon booking.
Parking
On non-football game days, parking is available for a fee (Pay by Space) adjacent to the WAC at $5.00/hour. The availability of parking cannot be guaranteed. Citations may be issued to vehicles who fail to pay at the pay station.

If you plan on parking on campus while attending an event at the WAC, please pay at the pay station located directly in front of the WAC, or contact the Parking Services Special Events Office at (206) 616-8710 for information.
