Phase 1 and 2:
Tech Talk! 30 Years of IT Accessibility: This "Tech Talk" is being presented on July 30, 2020, the week of the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This session will explore how AT and technology accessibility have evolved over the last 30 years, plus barriers that still exist and strategies for addressing them as we move into the future.
Phase 1:
Writing for Success: Learn why writing skills are important and methods to be a better writer while learning about scholarships. Get in touch with your networking side by sending a formal thank you email.
Phase 2:
Let's DO-IT! Mock Interviews with the Pros: During this highly-rated session, Scholars will learn strategies for showcasing their strengths and talents during job interviews.
Phase 1 and 2:
Play Jackbox Games: Join DO-IT Staff in playing some Jackbox Games! Never played before? Don't worry--just grab a phone or computer, jump on Zoom, and you can play along on screen! These party style games include Fibbage, a game where you make up facts; Bracketeering, a game where you share opinions and more. See you there!
