Event signage

Please use the UW Family Weekend branded signage templates to provide directions to your building and welcome parents, families and visitors to your space or event.

If you are looking for help or printing your sign, reach out to Sign Shop or Creative Communications.

Sandwich Boards

We highly recommend placing at least one double-sided (two-panels) sandwich board sign outside main building entrances. Remember, parents and families may not be familiar with campus, so these visual wayfinding tools draw your audience to your event.

A-Frame rentals and permits

UW Facilities manages all outdoor signage and can provide more information and requirements for posting. Permits are required for sandwich boards.

Event posters

These are great for indoor display on floor easels, or for taping on windows, doors or walls.

We recommend having at least one sign near your activation identifying the title of your event as published on the UW Family Weekend schedule of events.

18×24-inch poster templates

Powerpoint presentation templates

Social media templates

These are great for promoting the title of your unit’s individual events and activities planned for UW Family Weekend on your social media channels.

UW Family Tailgate and football game

The official game kickoff time will be announced 7 to 14 days before game day. We’ll post the time to the UW Family Weekend website when it’s available.

The UW Family Tailgate begins three hours before kickoff and ends 30 minutes before kickoff.

Pick up your Tailgate entry wristbands at any time during Family Weekend Check-in Lounge hours, or check in at the tailgate entrance at Recreation Field #1 on Saturday, three hours before kickoff.

Discounted UW Family Weekend football tickets can be purchased through FEVO.

Students with Dawg Pack tickets can sit within the student section at Husky Stadium. If you would like to have your student sit with you during the game, we suggest that you purchase a ticket for your student in your chosen section.

If you also purchased tickets to the UW Family Tailgate, scarves will be distributed inside the tailgate footprint.

If you did NOT purchase tickets to the UW Family Tailgate, scarves can be picked up at the Zone. Additional directions will be provided.

Please note: Husky Stadium has a no reentry policy. Please plan your scarf pickup on your way into the stadium for the game. Scarves will be available through halftime, or while supplies last.
