DO-IT Celebrates National Mentoring Month with STEM Resume Contest

Date
Thursday, January 7, 2016 to Friday, January 29, 2016

To celebrate National Mentoring Month, we are hosting our annual STEM Resume Contest for Students with Disabilities, powered by DO-IT's award-winning electronic mentoring community. AccessSTEM participants from across the country can submit their resumes to DO-IT to receive advice and encouragement from mentors and staff.

At the end of the contest, multiple winners will be chosen. Everyone who participates has a chance at winning 100 dollars, and the four participants with the best STEM focused resumes will win 50 dollars. Runners-up will have the opportunity to win sweatshirt, t-shirts, mugs, and more!

Having an up-to-date resume is beneficial, no matter where you are in your education or career. It is also helpful for DO-IT staff to have participants' updated resumes on file for internship recommendations, job opportunities, and career guidance. Be sure to include your major and expected graduation date.
