Toolkits – Admitted Student Day

Admitted Student Day — April 4, 2026

Admitted Student Day (ASD) is a fun on-campus event where newly admitted prospective students and their families learn all about the Husky Experience. The purpose of the day is to create an opportunity for potentially new Huskies to connect with faculty, staff, current Huskies and other admitted students and get a sneak peek of campus life — from academics and majors to residence halls and dining to extracurriculars — so they can see what the UW has to offer and feel confident about their college decision.

The marketing resources in this Admitted Student Day toolkit offer participating units the tools to promote and welcome students and their guests to their Admitted Student Day sessions, open houses, events or tabling using the Admitted Student Day design and brand.

Event signage/print assets

Please use the Admitted Student Day-branded signage templates to provide directions or wayfinding to your building and welcome prospective students and their guests to your space or event.

If you are looking for help creating your sign, reach out to Sign Shop or Creative Communications.

Sandwich boards

We highly recommend placing at least one double-sided (two-panel) sandwich board sign outside main building entrances. Remember, prospective students and their families may not be familiar with campus, so these visual wayfinding tools draw your audience inside your building and to your event.

These templates are great for indoor display on floor easels, or for taping on windows, doors or walls.

We recommend having at least one sign near your activation that identifies the title of your event or session as published on the Admitted Student Day schedule of events.

PowerPoint slides

Add the “Welcome to Admitted Student Day” slide to the beginning of your planned slide deck or customize your own slide(s) using the Admitted Student Day-branded template.

If your building or space has permanent screens in commons spaces, we highly recommend welcoming prospective students and families by displaying a single or rotating PowerPoint deck.
