Keep up with all the marketing and communications initiatives at the University of Washington and interact with all your marketing colleagues from all three campuses. The group gathers quarterly to share ideas and resources, hear from industry experts and to collaborate on marketing opportunities.
Dear Colleagues,
We look forward to seeing you Thursday, April 16 at the Marketing & Communications Roundtable at Walker Ames, Kane Hall with the option for Zoom participation. In–person attendance is highly encouraged.
Our topic next month will a deep dive into the Civic Health Initiative, and our guests will be Ed Taylor, vice provost and dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, and Jodi Sandfort, dean of the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. They have been leading a tri-campus core team of University of Washington faculty members, staff and students committed to developing an initial framework for this initiative.
As stated on the website, by strengthening civic participation and confidence in public institutions, we can build a more connected and effective society, capable of tackling big challenges and creating a healthier, more hopeful democracy. From our last meeting, you’ll recall that one pillar of the strategic plan is centered around radical collaborations for the benefit of people in Washington and beyond, and civic health is included in those objectives.
The University of Washington is committed to providing access and accommodation in its services, programs, and activities. To make a request connected to a disability or health condition, contact University and Marketing at mktg@uw.edu by Friday, April 10.
It should be an engaging conversation, and we look forward to seeing you all on April 16!
