What is the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP)?

The United States Department of Labor includes the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), which was created in 2001 as a sub-cabinet policy agency. According to the ODEP website, this office "provides national leadership by developing and influencing disability-related employment policy and practice affecting the employment of people with disabilities." Their leadership is provided by "developing and influencing disability employment-related policies and practices affecting an increase in the employment of people with disabilities."
