Disability Rights Washington provides free services to people with disabilities. While are a private non-profit organization that protects the rights of people with disabilities statewide, they also have many resources on their website for all people with disabilities. Their mission is to advance the dignity, equality, and self-determination of people with disabilities.

DESCRIPTION

GMA Games is a company developing Windows-based games for people who are blind or have other visual impairments. The GMA Games website allows you to demo games and then purchase full versions if you wish.

Doitsem Discussion List

DESCRIPTION

Doitsem is a discussion list that promotes the successful participation of individuals with disabilities in challenging academic programs and careers, including those in business, technology, science, engineering, and mathematics,(SEM). It is sponsored by DO-IT (Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking and Technology) at the University of Washington.

American Sign Language

DESCRIPTION

Signing Savvy is a site that offers thousands of words in an online video dictionary of signs to make learning American Sign Language (ASL) more accessible. It was created by a small group of educators who wanted to provide easy-to-use learning tools for ASL. The site includes tips, resources, word lists, and more beyond just the visual online dictionary.
