Anesthesia & Surgery

DCM offers state-of-the-art anesthesia and surgery support for an array of large animal species (including sheep, swine, dogs, rabbits, and ferrets) as well as rodents (rats, mice).  Services include surgery suite rental, anesthesia support, post-operative care, imaging (digital x-ray, ultrasound, IVIS imaging, fluoroscopy), surgery and anesthesia consulting (including IACUC protocol development), and anesthesia equipment rental.

Training and certification in large animal anesthesia and basic surgical techniques are also available through the Center for Laboratory Animal Training Resources.
