Richard E. Ladner
Richard E. Ladner served as Principal Investigator of AccessComputing from its inception in 2006 until January 2024 through five National Science Foundation Broadening Participation in Computing Alliance grants. He joined the University of Washington in 1971 and is currently a professor emeritus in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering.
Sheryl Burgstaher
Sheryl Burgstahler served as Co-Principal Investigator of AccessComputing from its inception in 2006 until January 2024 through five National Science Foundation Broadening Participation in Computing Alliance grants. As founder and previous director of the DO-IT Center at the University of Washington, she helped create the infrastructure and stability needed to make AccessComputing a success.
