Preparing Your Poster
Courtesy of the NASA Space Grant Consortium, the URP has two worksheets for use in preparing a poster:

Printing Your Poster
Large-format poster printing is available on-campus at:
- Odegaard Computing Commons

- uwposters.com

- Mary Gates Hall CRC

- College of Architecture and Urban Planning Printing Center

Submit your printing request by Monday, May 12th in order to guarantee your poster is ready on the day of the symposium.
Don't forget to request a proof of your poster prior to printing the full-size version.
Mounting Your Poster
Your poster:
- Should be 40" x 32" .
- Should be mounted and ready to display on the easels we provide.
Please note the URP does not provide foam board for mounting posters. You may purchase form board at the University Book Store, or other locations.
On the Day of the Symposium
Deliver your poster to the Mary Gates Hall Commons
and check in at the registration table between 8 and 11:00 am on Friday, May 16th.
You will present your poster during the formal Poster Session. Presenters are asked to remain at their posters during the formal session times and as available throughout the afternoon. You should be prepared with a three- to five-minute summary for visitors using your poster as a visual guide. Some visitors may ask additional questions. Additionally, you are also strongly encouraged to attend the presentation sessions.
Please be prepared to take your poster home with you by 6:00 pm on Friday, May 16th.
The URP is not responsible for lost or damaged posters that are not picked up by the 5:30 pm deadline.
