OMA&D Communications

Mission Statement

OMA&D Communications provides top-tier service to OMA&D units, programs, students and alumni, while remaining a consistent and knowledgeable resource to other campus and community partners.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the VP for OMA&D and the University Diversity Officer to align OMA&D communications with VP and UDO priorities
• Provide support and guidance to OMA&D units and programs for best practices, resource sharing and UW brand alignment
• OMA&D specific public relations and media inquiries
• Consultation to campus and community partners on issues related to OMA&D and campus diversity issues that fall under the prevue of the University Diversity Officer
• Expand channels that focus on storytelling and resources that advance DEI initiatives at the University of Washington
