Anesthesia machines equipped with isoflurane vaporizers are available to rent on an hourly basis for use in rodents. Vaporizer rental must be scheduled through the new AOps system based on the location where your animals are housed.
Requirements for Isoflurane machine rental are:
- Isoflurane must be approved on your current IACUC protocol
- You must purchase your own rodent induction chamber and nose cone.
- You must be trained to use the Anesthesia machine prior to use.
- Special consideration are needed for using in ABSL2
- We request at least 2 days’ notice for all requests otherwise an expedited fee applies
- Please submit these requests through AOps.
