Overview
The Rodent Health Monitoring Program (RHMP) surveils and maintains the Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) status of rodent housing facilities at the University of Washington (UW).
RHMP activities include:
- Routinely monitoring the SPF status of UW rodent colonies
- Resolving outbreaks
- Facilitating rodent exports to other institutions
- Evaluating prospective rodent imports and processing rodents in quarantine
